We are looking for an experienced Community Manager to join our Global team in Hong Kong. The person should be experienced in using social media, and familiar with community management and have a good understanding of the social media landscape in Asian markets. You should be a ‘people person’ with the ability to moderate, manage and build conversations. Ultimately, you should be able to act as the voice of our brand and manage all Chinese and Asian community communications.
Set and implement social media campaigns to align with marketing strategies
Coordinate with marketing, communications and developer relations teams to ensure brand consistency and efficient project work-flow across markets and time-zones
Create and translate engaging text, messages and announcements for Chinese social media accounts
Monitor and report on feedback and online reviews and activities that involves our brand
Initiate conversations with the Asian community, and respond to comments and questions when appropriate
Liaise with Development and Product teams to stay updated on new products and features
Build and nurture relationships with the community, industry professionals and influencers in Asia
Stay up-to-date with digital technology trends and blockchain industry updates
Identify possible new community channels and give insightful briefings
Work with third party agencies for specific platform needs and content optimization when necessary
Experience & Qualifications
Excellent writing and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese
Previous work experience in community outreach and management
Experience in launching community initiatives, such as hosting meetups, online meetings and webinars etc.
Strong knowledge in using WeChat, Weibo, Telegram and various social channels
Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics
Good understanding and experience on Social Channels and hands on experience with social media management for brands.
Experience with crisis management
Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Knowledge of Blockchain technology a plus.
Experience with 3rd party Social Media tools and vendors.
