HRIS Analyst, Workday

We are looking for a detail-oriented HRIS Analyst to work within our Human Resources team and be an integral part of’s daily operations.  In this role, you will have the opportunity to impact every employee’s experience by ensuring the integrity and overall system operation of the HRIS, currently Workday. This role is responsible for our HRIS to include configuration, support, reporting, analytics, training and troubleshooting and serves as the point of contact and Workday subject matter expert.


  • Works with the Human Resources team to lead and manage the configuration and maintenance of the HRIS, Workday.

  • Acts as administrator for Workday Core HCM and Recruiting functional work streams.

  • Reviews, changes and implements business processes to provide efficiency in HR workflows both within the department and to department partners.

  • Collaborates with the HR team to capture and document requirements for Workday system enhancements and fixes.

  • Builds and customizes Workday reports according to department and business requests.

  • Develops and maintains user procedures, guidelines, training and documentation for Workday system

  • Administers and reviews all security changes within the Workday system.

  • Provides direction, mentoring, training and guidance to team members and employees regarding Workday system functions.

  • Provides support, to include researching, resolving system issues and supporting training initiatives within Workday.

  • Assists with various output from Workday to include file feeds and analytical reports.

  • Other duties as assigned. 


  • Must be a subject matter expert supporting and maintaining Workday.

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • Two years of proven experience working with an HRIS, which must include the Workday platform.

  • Experience running ad-hoc reports.

  • Expertise with Report Writer in Workday.

  • Proven experience in event notifications, manipulating trigger criteria and calculating field reporting in Workday.

  • Ability to apply critical thinking skills and high attention to details to analyze data and draw appropriate conclusions in a timely manner.

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to communicate in a professional, positive, courteous manner.

  • Sense of urgency with the ability to respond and follow through on projects in a timely and efficient manner.

  • Exceptional organizational and planning skills and the ability to balance multiple priorities.

  • Experience working in a startup culture is preferred.
