Our team is looking for a passionate Information Architect to investigate, prototype, test, and inform solutions for building clean and enjoyable products. Be part of an energetic work environment that values work / life balance.
The ideal candidate will not only have a broad understanding of human factors and user-centric design practices, but will also be able to collaborate with product teams to understand underlying requirements creating easy, delightful experiences for users.
You will work closely with the Design Team, Product Managers and users to organize content and structure, articulating effective solutions based on complex data sets and best usability practices. You will generate process flows, prototypes and produce reports that you will present directly to stakeholders. You will participate in usability research efforts across various products, and act as a user advocate throughout the entire software development lifecycle.
Translate concepts, requirements and research into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Facilitate the product vision by researching, conceiving, sketching, prototyping and user-testing experiences for digital products.
Deliver wireframes, user stories, user journeys, and low-fidelity mockups optimized for a wide range of devices and interfaces.
Identify usability problems and devise elegant solutions.
Make strategic design and user-experience decisions related to core, and new features.
Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.
Push to research, discover and explore new innovative techniques and methods for IA, design and usability.
Cooperate with developers to match intended content architecture and organization
Contribute to overall Design Team processes and libraries.
3+ years of experience in software relevant Information Architecture, including UX Design, analysis, and requisite software/hardware tools. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience researching/designing complex solutions for complete digital environments.
Experience with understanding research, analyzing results/data and translating into a clear and useful strategic prototypes to support stakeholders and project teams.
Ability to objectively facilitate/moderate group discussions in professional and research settings
Experience with qualitative and quantitative analytical techniques and tools
Experience with web analytics tools, customer experience tools, and/or marketing research tools
Comprehensive understanding of usability practices and principles applicable to user-centered design.
Experience with the Adobe Creative Suite - specifically Adobe XD & Illustrator is preferred.
Ability to work with stakeholders to understand detailed requirements and design complete user experiences that meet theirs and users’ needs and visions.
Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
A solid grasp of user-centered design (UCD) and Data-Driven Design, planning and conducting user research, user testing, A/B testing, rapid prototyping, heuristic analysis, usability and accessibility concerns.
Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, findings, rationale, and solutions through written reports and oral presentations with stakeholders and team.
Ability to work effectively in a team setting including synthesizing abstract ideas into concrete design implications.
